I think most Brits are really open minded and have no racist opinion about Mexicans. We're a receptive, tolerant culture, comprised of many earlier nationalities ourselves:and why single out the English, there are Welsh, Scottish and Irish people from Northern Ireland that make up our country- the UK:pretty inclusive anyway, don't you think? The UK doesn't just have one language, English, and we're happy to celebrate this.
The Mexicans I've met in Mexico and the US have been great, but I also realise that these may not be typical of a whole country's race.
By the way, please think before posting in a specific section, you'll get more appropriate answers, plus potentially a more typical response.
Good luck! Rob

If you read a newspaper or listen to train / bus conversations. The average Brit hates everyone. Mexican people would not be special. They refer to everyone but themselves and those sitting in their immediate vicinity as "foreign". This is often stated "ironically" or "hey, as a laugh".
If you spend time with those who actually think about life, then those people in Britain, would be just like everyone else and would accept you whether you're Mexican, American, German, Spanish, Italian, etc. etc.
Do yourself a favour, don't generalise about other cultures or countries because you will only scare yourself into thinking everyone is the same and that is surely not the case - anywhere.
It seems that people get a delight out of worrying if someone else dislikes them. Try going to a country with an open heart and an open mind and that is what you will find no matter where you travel....

Last time I checked, they were the same human beings as anyone else! I guess Americans hate them and because they "dominate" world opinion, the poor Mexicans feel they are hated worldwide. Trust me, they ain't! Eddie Guerrerro spent his life fighting such dumb *** prejudices. Viva La Raza!!

Mexican gangs, freeloaders, criminals, etc., thumbs down!
Cute, hot Mexicans, or hardworking, glad-to-be-in-the-USA Mexicans, come on up! Not many gals actually warm me up, but Hispanic Veronica is one I would like to have taken home to meet my folks!
Forgive us, of course, for confusing anyone from south of the Rio Grande with being "Mexicans." Most illegals here aren't actually Mexicans, but refugees from Central and South America, I think. Consider that even native-born Americans think New Mexico (state) is actually part of Mexico.
