I guess I like Jung's theory of personality and the use of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator. It is what I used when I was in the masters program.

I am an ISTJ, and I have been told that I act according to type in most circumstances.

I'm pretty sure there's no one that's generally accepted.

One or another, or one you haven't mentioned, or a combination appeals to a psychologist, and that's what they use.

I'm not a psychologist, but I'm really fond of Carl Rogers, myself.
