O ye of simple mind. Why do you cherry pick only those things that seem to meet your narrow view instead of looking at the big picture?
Muslims are not just in the Middle East, For A thousand years they have spread over much of the Eurasian area and pacific islands. There are Muslims on every continent. How many are giving us any trouble? Those who live in the area around their holiest of places are the ones that see themselves defending those holy places from what they see as infidels, us. Arab Muslims are fighting us not all Muslims.
Liberals don't bash the country. On the contrary they bash an incompetent, corrupt, arrogant, lying, greedy leader and his Administration. Government is more than him. Those who think Bush is the sole government show their contempt for the Constitution as Bush has. He called it a goddamn piece of paper. That Constitution is the basis of a democratic federal republic not on a dictatorship. Not supporting an unjust war seems to be a majority thought throughout America today. It seems like a few die hard neocons and jingoists seem to think that it is still a good thing.
A great Nazi technique was used much like what the neocons use today. They tout the war and try to scare people into thinking that there are bad guys just waiting to attack us meanwhile trying to discredit those who disagree with them. Something similar to that was express by the neocon hero Hermann Goering.
You accuse people of bashing America but do not give one example of this. Oh try to equate it with some sort of love for Muslims to villafy them if you will but it is not going to work. You look very uninformed and stupid when you do this because most people know otherwise.
Finally when you talk in generalizations one knows you are lying or misinformed as nothing involving human beings is absolute.

We need a president that believes in the constitution.
Not one group liberal or conservative should over power someone else to where the other group feels silenced. I've seen the battle of the extremists on both sides. Some have gathered support for just THEIR rights meanwhile excluding others and I think that is unfair and unjust. That is in itself Anti-American.
The first amendment has been under persecution for quite some time because anti-religious types think that it only reads
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion
but it says:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof

First of all, there have been MANY muslim groups that condemn the terrorists. Not as many as I would have expected, perhaps, but quite a few nonetheless. Still, they don't have to. How many Christians released a public statement when Kazinsky was bombing abortion clinics and saying it was God's will?
It is possible to love your country and still criticize the actions of its government. In fact, the way I see it, it's our duty. If you disagree with something they are doing, why should we stand by and let it happen instead of doing something about it?
Yes, America will still stand when Bush dies. But by the time he's out of office, we will have a LOT of work to do to reestablish our place in the world. There is a time and a place for bullying, but President Bush tends to threaten and intimidate at every opportunity instead of at least making the attempt to speak civilly to people. No one is going to listen if you do that.

Because in a free society you get to question your government. Dissent is patriotism.
Why do conservatives think that the defintion they have for "America" applies to everyone? And if you "love America" so much why do you constantly bash Bill Clinton. He was after all the commander and chief. Isn't that just as "anti-american" as bashing bush?

I don't bash the country, I bash the republican morons and their failed policies for weakening my country. I bash the warhawk generals that like to play with their future weapons, at our expense. Our National guard is in Iraq for god's sake. The "NATIONAL" guard.
But I forget the Cons are the only ones who love the country and the troops. If they new that half of every unit in Iraq can't wait to get out of the military what would they think? You guys stand up for corruption, lies, hate, and spending tax dollars on people who don't want our "help" rather than spending it on our own citizens.
If we continue to let "the decider" make our decisions will be the eighth most powerful country in another decade.

Why can't you undestand that we are part of this country as well as you are and its not only your opinion that makes this country work and thrive? Because you don't agree that we need to leave Iraq, then everyone that thinks we should is anti-american....great logic, did you take that class at the YMCA?
We bash Bush because he is a complete moron, that does not make us anti-american that we don't want to support someone that is turning our once great country into the most hated country in the world. In fact I think that makes us 10 times more american than you morons that support his evil agenda.

Please show us and prove that liberals have bashed America. I find it quite funny that you confuse criticism of the president's policies as bashing America. I don't know where you grew up, but I grew up in America where dissent is considered patriotic. From the sounds of it, you grew up in Nazi Germany, where the fuehrer is considered the state and it is illegal to criticize the fuehrer.
I love my country and I refuse to sit on my hands when I see it being dragged down the wrong road in history by a homicidal psychopath president hellbent on selling it to the war profiteers and oil industry for the high price of our troops lives.

Bush would sell America for $100 if he thought he could get away with it.
Criticizing your country IS patriotic. It's how the founding fathers got here in the first place.

Our actions? Speaking for self, MY actions include a six year stint in the Air Force.....yes,....the, uhhh, United States Air Force, with 2 below-the-zone promotions and becoming the first college graduate from my family. My actions involve volunteering with Habitat For Humanity, working as an engineer for a large corporation, and being a rescuer of homeless animals.
I'm straining to find my streak of anti-Americanism, although I do refuse to bury my head and opinions in the sand as a way of "taking one for the team". I do refuse to quietly ignore ineptitude and incompetence. These are fine pro-American qualities in my humble opinion.

Being opposed to conservative beliefs is not anti-American. Quite the opposite, actually. When we bash your stands on issues, that is not bashing America. We love this country and what it is supposed to stand for, and hope to be able to fix the incredible damage you all have done to it.
