The envelope stuffing scam has been around for decades, and people still fall for it. Here's how it works. You buy sales brochures from the company and you advertise their offer. Then, if anyone responds to your ads, you "stuff" the brochures into envelopes and mail them. If anyone who receives a brochure from you responds to the offer, you get a commission on the sale.
You have to pay for the brochures, the advertising, the envelopes, and the postage. It would take a miracle for you to come anywhere close to covering your costs, never mind making a profit.
But the company behind the scam is laughing all the way to the bank. They've got people paying them to do their advertising. They make money from selling the brochures and they make money when anyone buys from the offer.
Don't do it!

I tried it, but none of them worked. I lost some money on them, and finally gave up. I also tried the surveys on-line and reading emails, and made a little bit with them. I finally found a company that I work from home with, and have been able to leave my job that I had outside of the home and work from home only. I work part time and am earning over $300.00 a week and have just received my first promotion today. There are some great companies out there that you can work from home with, but you must be careful because there are also some bad ones out there.

Have you thought about trading on Ebay etc. I can send you some information on where to source product from ie drop shippers and wholesalers.
Develop your own product or service ? Create a list of what you are passionate about, what you have a lot of knowledge about, something people may come to you for advise on. Then locate a niche market "A group of people who are searching the internet for a solution to a problem and NOT finding many relevant results" There are plenty of ways to do research on this.
Become an affiliate and earn commission by recommending someone else’s product. Again, I can send you some links where you can find programs like this.
Its a violation of Yahoo policy to post links here. Just reply and I’ll send it onto you.

Actually no! I work for a company called WorkAtHomeAgent as a customer service rep. Its totally legit and matter of fact Ive been working with them since last summer. I take calls for infomericals that are on TV. Its actually kind of fun! Check out www.work4rmhome2day.com for free legit listings. You dont have to register, or even give them your email address. Just browse the companies and apply for the ones you like! Good luck =]

The stuff-envelopes at home involve mailing out sales literature - you MIGHT get paid if someone buys something. They're basically scams to get YOUR money, not really a way for you to make money.
