First of all his case has nothing to do with the system being fair, where did that ever come up. Second of all he has only been sentenced. Mr. Libby as all defendants has the opportunity to appeal his conviction, which has already been put in place so he can not be sent to jail yet based on the type of crime. But due to the already leaks about the special prosecutor, the knowledge the Asst Sec of State was the one who truly outed the CIA staff, and the fact that she is not a covert agent I do not see Libby ever having to go to jail which based on your comments means you would not see the system as fair since only Republicans should go to jail in your world.

Oh, really. What neighborhood is that? I still think the system is fair. Political affiliation should not matter when it comes to sentencing or justice.

Sandy Berger should be in jail also. After all he did try to smuggle out national security documents from the archives. And now rather than have to answer more questions about possible missing documents he chooses to give up his law license. It makes you wonder what he and Clinton are really hiding. Must be pretty bad.

Libby didn't leak the CIA information, so what is he exactly going to jail for? For saying the a reporter told him about her being a CIA agent vs Cheney. Not really a 2 1/2 yr punishable offense in my book.
