Ugly is as ugly does. Usually, it's an overriding selfishness (and concurrent lack of responsibility).

Ugly is an action taken, not an passive adjective in my mind. People and animals mean nothing to these people. Ugly is as ugly does. White hoods, that is ugly! Sarcasm meant to hurt, that's ugly. Family that betrays you. Friends who take you for all they can get. Strangers who trick you into things that can ruin your finances or your life. All of these things make up an ugly person.

I've seen unkempt or unusual people, yes, regular ugly people, but they are rarely as ugly as these kind.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I have known some beautiful women that were ugly people inside, and visa versa. For the most part my eye's don't recognize ugly, I can see beauty in all living things!

To me, only a person with an ugly soul can truly be ugly. By that I mean people who always have to put others down to make themselves look better, people who will stab their friends in the back if it helps them get ahead, people who feel they have to sit in judgment of everyone else they know, and people who delight in making other people feel bad about themselves. I have known many people who are ugly according to this description even if they're beautiful on the outside. And I've also known people who were ugly in the traditional sense, externally, and absolutely beautiful in their souls.

An ugly person is one who is full of hatred or prejudice, or someone who takes joy in belittling someone else. It's amazing how someone can become uglier and uglier right before your eyes just because of their actions. For instance, I saw Donald Trump on TV just blasting the heck out of Rosie O' Donnell, calling her a "slob" and a "loser." I can either take or leave Rosie, but Donald became more repulsive every time he opened his mouth. Yuck. I have seen other instances of this "uglification" taking place with other people, but this is the best way I know how to describe it.

Well, everyone is beautiful in their own way. But, many make themselves ugly by being rude to others. How does one feel about themselves when they do that?

I think they have a problem they need to work on.

I can meet a person and think that they look attractive, but that doesn't mean I am attracted to them.
Usually the superficially attractive people I meet are so dumb or cruel, I can't see them as attractive anymore. It just all goes away and all I can see are their bad features.

Then I ahve met soem people who did not catch my eye as attractive. But then come to find out they are really smart or kind or did something selfless or charitable and suddenly they become sexy bitches.

When the heart is filthy, evil and selfish.... it is real ugly, no matter how he/she looks on the surface.

compare using some beautiful and expensive glossy bag to wrap stinking s.h.i.t you will understand. So do u look at the superficial appearance or the essence of one's character?
