We all know how horrible the Yankees are doing this season with all those superstars. We all know how much George Steinbrenner likes to spend spend spend. The Yankees are notorious for getting great players to join the darkside.

Ive been hearing that my White Sox may trade Jermaine Dye for Bobby Abreu (NOOOOO), that the Yankees may be interested in getting rid of Johnny Damon, and that they are looking at Mark Teixeira. Who will leave the Evil Empire and who will be the newest guy in Pinstripes after the trade deadline?

Your guess is as good as mine but most likely it will be different considering the way they are playing...and also it will probably have a pricetag over $200 million.

I realize the yankees hitters are struggling, but trading for more bats is not the answer. They need pitching, but as a Red Sox fan I hope they don't realize this and just bring in another useless hitter. Let them get Texeira or Dye, who cares? It will not improve their team in the slightest without bumping up the pitching staff. And I don't mean Clemens or some other overpaid 20-year veteran.

Is it true that they already signed Jack Kevorkian as team physician. George and Brian figured it would be a good way to encourage Abreu, Damon and Phelps to be more productive. But has anyone seen Heath Bell lately?

Once again....
The White Sox are NOT, I repeat, NOT trading Dye to the Yankees. That is just Yahoo Answers rumors. This rumor has not even been printed in either Chicago newspaper. It is not going to happen.

THE ABREU FOR DYE IS NOT MADE UP. ESPN HAS BEEN ALL OVER IT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS NOW. SO WHO DON'T BELIEVE IT MAY BE TALKING FROM THEIR IGNORANCE AS THE COMMERCIAL GOES.
