My hubby had vasectomy two years ago, he went back after 6 months for recheck. But, hasn't gone back since, is it possible for me to get pregnant. I haven't had my period since March 24 and having another child now is like woww!!!! I have taken a pregnancy test and yes its positive, but my hubby might think i have been cheating on him. What should I do?

Vasectomies are not 100% effective for birth control! I know 4 people who still had babies after their husbands had vasectomies. When your husband had the operation, I bet he had to sign a waiver stating that he would not sue the clinic if he had a baby later. (hmmm...that's a pretty big red flag that these things aren't 100% effective!) Consult the clinic and ask how often this type of thing happens. Also tell you husband that your willing to get a paternity test after the baby comes. When the results come back that he is the daddy- he'll owe you a HUGE appology. :)

why are you asking if its possible you have your answer, and from the sounds of it your about 3months along..... not sure what else to say if he loves and trust you than he will know its his...(is it?) I don't understand why you ask unless you did cheat and now you are trying to save yourself.....my hubby had one 7yrs ago and never even once went for a re check and I haven't gotten pregnant...yes it can and does happen but like I said you have your answer why even call his doc to ask if its possible because YOU ARE PREGNANT .....honey I understand how shocked you must be but if you have been faithful to your husband than you have nothing to worry about....

Even a vasectomy does not guarantee you can't get pregnant. Have your husband go to the doctor so that they can explain this to him- it has nothing to do with getting it checked, or how long it's been, it's just not 100%- the only way to absolutely not get pregnant is to not have sex. Period.

You can go to planned parenthood and they will help you and give you a medical examination. You can die and bleed to death from miscarriage. They will give you Iron pills that will help you, boiling dirt is very dangerous, there is a lot of germs in dirt. Even using an iron skillet to cook with gives you more iron than dirt. They will also help you to get on birth control pills until your health improves. It is all free of charge. The birth control pills come with iron tablets. I do not believe you want a baby, at this time. A better solution than what you have been doing is taking a pill. Take control of your life. Your to old to act so irresponsible.

A man needs to go back and make sure that the vasectomy is successful. All they need to do is give a sample and the Dr test is for sperm.

That all depends. Did you cheat on him? If not, than yes, because he didn't go back for check ups it is possible for him to have released a few sperm here or there. Call his doctor first and ask if it's possible. Then tell him you're pregnant.

He's probably going to think you cheated on him. If you didn't tell him to go back to his doctor and get rechecked. Anything is possible.

You know what? If you still think you can get pregnant, then chop off your "hubby's" balls.

Honestly, try it. He might thank you later.
