Growing up, i was athiest, mostly because my parents were. (though, they were raised Roman Catholic) But a couple years ago, i started believing in G-d, though i still dont believe in jesus. I realized what I believe in, is a lot like Judaism. So it's not like id have to worry about having to stop believing in Jesus (I never did)

Mazal tov! From the conversions that I've seen it does take anywhere from 6 months to maybe 18 months, with the average being about a year. It depends on the particular rabbi. When you find one with whom you want to work, you might inquire as to whether or not his or her conversions are recognized by the Conservative movement. In order for this to happen you will have to have a beit din (a rabbinical court) to confirm that you've actually learned what you need to know, and that you're sincere; and you will also want to have a mikvah (the ritual immersion bath).

From?
An orthodox Jew - a minute
A Christian - a year
A Muslim - a lifetime - which is about a minute if you are in a Muslim run country
A Buddhist - Let me contemplate on that.

I am just happy you are starting your walk with God.
Enjoy the journey, don't worry about the time.

About that, it depends a bit on your local synagogue.

Edit: That's why I converted. Good luck to you!
