What I remember is when my kids were in school in the 1970s and the early 1980s and we enjoyed things together that were happening at that time, for example Monty Python TV shows. But I also introduced my kids to some of the things I enjoyed — playing basketball, watcing baseball, ice cream (when they were very young), some books (e.g., my duaghter's first real adult book (I think), which is one of my favorites, The Great Gatsby).

My daughters not even 2 yet. But she does like Care Bears which I liked as a kid also. As for music, she prefers Blues Clues or SpongeBob songs. : )

yup me and my son sit down and watch bobby's world ,mighty mouse, woody woodpecker all the time
we play the original mario brothers and quarters, street hockey, wall ball, i know they probally still do that one now but where i grew up all we could do it play sports so i'm teaching him early

yeah, i do not have any now but when i do, i will show them how i grew up and that we didn't have all of the cool stuff that kids have to do now. they will understand how lucky they are to have it. good luck.
