I haven't read them all so I can only compare the one's I have read. These are my five top Stephen King books of those I have read. Since the Dark Tower was not one of my favorites you may find my best five might not match up to your best five.

Stand, The
Dead Zone, The
Eyes of the Dragon, The
Green Mile, The
On Writing, A Memoir of the Craft

These were hard to pick because there are several others that I hated to leave out of the list.

The Stand -- When King is dead and gone, this will be the book he'll be remembered for.

Different Seasons -- Four novellas, including Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption (source of the movie The Shawshank Redemption) and The Body (source of the movie Stand By Me).

Misery -- A good blend of comedy and horror.

The Eyes of the Dragon -- Adult fantasy novel. Harry Potter, this ain't.

It -- Some of King's best horror writing.
