moving out if your under 18?? I can support myself and have a place to live? they cant come get me can they?

Yes, they can say you can't leave. Unless you are emanipated, you are under the care of your parents.

Why would you want too? Just wait untill your older. It may seem like a good idea but chances are you'll be broke quick and have to move back anyway. Coming back is tougher.

You can move out IF you get legally emancipated. Go see an attorney. It will cost you about $100.

You have to get emancipated first.

When you get emancipation, you become a legally recognized adult even though you're under 18.

BTW...You have to give them a preetty good reason for the government to emancipate you.
