Kervorkian just got out of prison. If he were to call more attention to the subject by continueing his practice of assisting suicide, has the US changed enough to tolerate assisted suicide?
As the baby boomers get older, I think that if assisted suicide isn't legalized, it's going to become a really big issue.

It troubles me that we even need a law for that. If a person is dying a slow, painful death, it should be their right to choose.

I am not for nor will I ever be for assisted suicide. If people are dying of horrible, painful diseases they should be provided with whatever level of pain medication they need. That even includes heroine. Let them live out their lives on a euphoric cloud but do not kill them.

"Baby boomers a real big issue"? Since when is living a national problem? Kevorkian is nuts - whacked. The culture that allows for death to be applied because someone is old smacks of killing someone because they are Jewish. Wait a minute - didn't 6,000,000 people die because of that outlook? God put us here, let's let Him take us out - when HE wants to.

definite it is going to. no person might desire to be compelled to stay in soreness or be left with the adverse decision of having to shoot themselves in the pinnacle or take another terrible degree to end their suffering. Even convicted murderers get a humane dying penalty by using deadly injection...why won't be able to a regulation abiding citizen have that luxury?

A person's life is their own, if they want to commit suicide, they are free to do so. There's no need legalizing allowing someone else to do it, that's murder in my opinion.

First abortion and now this, sounds like Eugenics is making a comeback.
