Because women have always been subjectified. Sexist oldies they always get into my pants. i mean hair. ????
They shud DEFINELTY like alternate b/w like "kiss the bride" and "kiss the groom."
Actualy just go and change it to like, "You may kiss eachother"

The guy that married me and my husband said "you can now kiss", but since the man is taking on the wife (normally she takes his last name) I assume that's where ut came from. He can now kiss his bride.

I dont know. I guess its like a tradition. I think they should say you may kiss each other. So much less degrading toward women.
