NO ONE should go to jail for motor vehicle infractions. Our country is strangling itself with stupid laws and ridiculous punishments. Jail should be for real criminals, not Paris, and not us regular working stiffs either. Did anyone see the guy on E News gleefully talking about how she'll be strip searched and a few other graphic details? He's a sleazebag just like all the rest of them. You can tell they're enjoying this whole thing. It's awful. The bottom line is that no one, whether it be the Paris Hiltons of the world or one of us, no one should be put in jail for minor infractions such as what she did.

Are you for real? Paris Hilton broke the frigging law by violating her probation. She was driving drunk with no drivers liscense when she was already on probation for a previous charge of driving intoxicated. What if Paris had smashed into someone and killed them hmm ......I guess u wouldve still being saying she doesnt belong in jail. You have ordinary and average people who goes to jail everyday for violating their probation. IF it were u who did what Your Idol Paris did your butt would be sitting in jail right now behind those iron bars. Paris broke the law and she deserves to do the time. The law is for every to obey and abide by. No one is above the law including Paris. How old are you by the way? You sound like youre really young. Anyone who idolizes Paris needs their head examined

Perhaps she is being used as an example to other celebrities who think they can push the limits of the law and get away with it because they are famous? She wasn't given time in jail because she's hot (which I think she is also). And someone should give Nicole a sandwich. Her breastbones are showing.

I don't agree. Those stupid girls are more dumb than a box of rocks. She broke the law, repeatedly might I add. She belongs in jail. And as far as I'm concerned, the longer the better.

second she should go to jail for that DUI. just because she's famous and has alot of money doesnt mean she doesnt have to go.
she should be treated like everyone else that has broken the law...going to jail!

Dude, she broke the law, and then broke it again, and again. Maybe some time in jail will make her wise up a bit and realize just because her parents are rich, she doesn't get to do whatever she wants. I'm sick of these people who are famous just for being famous...

She broke the law and got probation for it. She then broke the law again, which was in violation of her probation. She is right where she belongs. However, I must say that she took some very glamorous looking mug shots.
