I think it's selfish and irresponsible. She claimed she was doing it so other women wouldn't feel the stigma of older women having children. There is a reason why physically she couldn't concieve children anymore. The female body is not meant to bare children that late in life. A baby is work enough, let alone twins. She is robbing her younger children of a mother and father far too early. She will not live to see her children grow up and have children of their own. S he is also robbing her grown children of a possible grandmother. SHe'll have her own young ones to care for and can't possibly play the role of grandmother as well. Silly says I. The doctor that did her fertility treatments should have his liscense revoked.

Umm... Wow I need to watch the news. I had no idea about it. Well, people will put her down whether she is 16 or 60. Obviously she was mean't to have this kid or she wouldn't have. Now, I'm not one of those "christian" people, but I do believe that everything happens for a reason. I wish her, her baby and her Grand kids who are now probably 20 the best of luck... Think abou it, is it really selfish of her for having a baby at 60 or is it just as selfish for someone to say it is selfish of her? I trust I have made my point.

I think it is very selfish for a 60 year old to want to have a baby. This is so not fair to those children. They will end up changing their parents diapers as soon as they get out of diapers themselves!

Honestly that is way too old to have kids!! When they are 10 the parents will be 70!!!!! That is about 30 years from the norm!!!!!! The generations are WAY different!!!!

It's fine for the women, more power to her. The children will suffer because they will lose a parent while still young .

I am a 55 y/o woman with two adult children and 3.5 grandchildren and I think the woman is absolutely, freaking, CRAZY!!!!

i think she is sick and wrong thats vile and heartless. she will probably die before they are grown. its wrong
