I did once actually. I was walking home after work one evening when a old lady asked me to walk her across the road.
I didn't mind, unfortunatly all my work mates saw me do it and the next morning I had plenty of jokes about 'my new girlfriend!'

Basically, I've never met an old lady who wanted to cross the road but couldn't (for some reason). But if I have, I'd help her of course.

No I haven't met an old women that needs help to cross the road. There are mainly young people that live in my area, but if I ever see one I will try and help her.

Not just to be helpful. It's part of my job. When ever I'm on Escort I have to help old ladies and old gentlemen - probably not to cross a road as we get taxies/ambulances door to door but everything else.
