Well as a Red Sox fan I am thrilled the way the season is going...and since Manny and Big Papi aren't to form yet it could get better. That said the season is long from over and nothing has been decided until the last out in October. Even if the Yankees look to be out of it they could easily get back in it...just look at the Twins last year.

I am a die hard New York Yankee fan, and I am proud of my team, always have been, the White Sox just got lucky last night. I will always, always be proud of my team, win or lose. That's more I can say about many Red Sox and White Sox fans I know, when the going gets tough for them, they stop cheering for that team .. fair weather fans .. that's what I call them.

I know, and it just makes me laugh harder when they say 26 rings or whatever, because sure, that says they have a great history, but what does that say about them now?!? that just shows that they can't come up with anything better and have really givin up. i do think the yankees will get better, i mean, come on, they're the yankees, but i don't think they can catch up with us. and pocahontas, i don't think the players are getting cocky, just the fans :) and commerce comet, just because she's a girl doesn't mean she can't recite the redsox lineup from memory. do you have something against girls liking sports? and can you recite the rs lineup from memory? b/c i can recite the yankees':
Damon
Jeter
Abreu
Arod
Posada
Matsui
Cano
Phelps
Cabrera
were not saying you shouldn't stick by your team. do you think we abandoned ours for 86 years?
and oki is totally worth whatever we paid for dicek, who's also doing pretty well, just not amazing.
we're pretty high paid too, but here's the diference: we are actually doing well right now.

im a huge sox fan and still cant believe they are playing this well. they have lost two in a row and you have to know that the yankees will be back. they have too much talent to not turn it around.

grow up

Yes, even the Yankees can have a bad season or 2.
I grew up watching them during the 80's. I'll take this crappy year over watching those 10 again.

To you Yankee guys -
Stop with the "26 Rings" crap. How many have you been alive to witness?? So Stop it!

What have you done in the 21st century??

Love,
Arizona Diamondbacks & Florida Marlins

Yes, we are proud. 26 rings. 1 in the last 89. Unless you mean the WHITE Sox, in which case it gets worse, but we don't care, because we don't play them 19 times a season, and, besides, White Sox fans aren't a bunch of... (Of course, Cub fans might disagree, and Ozzie Guillen sure makes up for it.)

Just because the yankees are falling behind doesn't mean that the sox's are better. I think that the sox's are getting a little cocky and thats going to bite them back. Next season the yankees are going to come back fresh and going to kill everyone. so to that note... GO YANKEES!!!!!!!!!!
