What Are the Signs and Symptoms?
Ectopic pregnancy can be difficult to diagnose because symptoms often mirror those of a normal early pregnancy. These can include missed periods, breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting, or frequent urination.
Pain is usually the first red flag. You might feel pain in your pelvis, abdomen, or, in extreme cases, even your shoulder or neck (if blood from a ruptured ectopic pregnancy builds up and irritates certain nerves). Most women describe the pain as sharp and stabbing. It may concentrate on one side of the pelvis, and it may come and go or vary in intensity.
Any of the following additional symptoms can suggest an ectopic pregnancy:
vaginal spotting or bleeding
dizziness or fainting (caused by blood loss)
low blood pressure (also caused by blood loss)
lower back pain

If you're only about 2 weeks past your period it's unlikely that you'd have an ectopic pregnancy. You'd be a good month pregnant before you started having the pain associated with an ectopic pregnancy, not a couple of days. More than likely you're ovulating. I know that I don't always know when I'm ovulating but sometimes it cramps on one side pretty badly but its relieved by some motrin. If the pain lasts more than a day, call your doctor.

I had an ectopic pregnancy back in feb. I knew i was pregnant after a week, and had it removed at 3 weeks, I had bleeding, cramping on one side, back and sholder pain, the reason you would know sooner is because of were the baby inplants, you would be able to read it on a pregnancy test and have systoms just like pregancy, i also had the morning sickness, sleepness, hot flashes, n all that, If you think this is what your having i would go to the doctor asap because it could really damage you or kill you, i wish you the best of luck!

if you are suppoesd to be ovulating, you likely don't have atubal pregnancy. For some women ovulation can be painful, especally if you have developed an ovarian cyst (usually harmless, many women have them and go undetected. A true tuble pregnancy will have a positive HPT, spotting/bleeding, and cramping. Its usually diagnosed at about 6-8 weeks pregnant, so its likely you are not having one. Call your dr to get a check-up to ease your mind.

Ectopic being pregnant continues to be a being pregnant so the indications would be the identical, that's why till an extremely-sound, or worse, anguish, rupturing, arise, it isn't identified that's an ectopic being pregnant. If your pregnant and involved, simply be certain that should you begin having anguish-(my aunt felt constipated whilst she had her ectopic preg.) That you inform your health care professional a.s.a.p.

ovulating can be painful, it's called middleschmertz. i know it sounds like i made it up but it's true. ectopic pregnancies are very painful, to the point you'd probably be sure there was something wrong. you know your body and you have to decide for yourself if its serious enough to see a doc. i cramp when i ovulate, espicially when i'm not on birth control.
