Yes, that's exactly what it means. My Betta is making a bubble nest and i am soon gonna get a female for him so that they can mate. Other than that, you can get a female and try to make them reproduce, your Betta is very healthy, if it is making a bubble nest.

sometimes when fish eat their food
they create bubbles while eating but then varys from what kind of food they are eating
now if your male is making bubbles in one certain area then yes it is a nest
you should go on google or even youtube and type it in
male betta bubble nest
and look at what one actually looks like
and these bubbles (if bubble nest) are good and mean your fish is healthy

maybe -- sometimes they just make random bubbles. if he is putting the bubbles in the same place it could be a bubble nest.

yes, at first there is bubbles scattered everywhere but at one point all the bubbles will build up and go to one side
