Becuase its function is important, but not lifethreateningly important. It produces chemicals that aid in digestion of food - so without it, portions of the food you eat aren't digested. The best way to get around that is to take dietary supplements, or eat other foods that contain the same nutrients, but not in the same form.

The gall bladder stores the bile for digestion of fats. Without the gall bladder the bile goes directly from the liver where it is made into the small intestine where it is used. The only problem would be digesting a large high fat meal.

The gall bladder isn't definitely a mandatory portion of the physique. you could stay without it as a results of fact it definitely in simple terms shops bile....the bile is definitely created by the liver. i'm definitely getting mine out quickly :(

oh good ...i had a gall stone attack 3 days ago ...(get about once every 3 years , they disperse thankfully ) .....I was told the bladder could be removed with no dangerous effects several years ago...but i grin and bare the pain...and it is very painfull...
its purpose is to every now and again dispurse a bile to aid the liver......in digestion ....without it you would require medication , ongoing

Function is important, but the body carries on quite well without it. Getting it removed doesn't make much difference after surgery. You can still eat foods without the pain they previously caused.

One can get along without many body parts, but just not as well. Each serves a function, but often can be partially augmented by other substitutes or artificial means.
