I had an ultrasound done last week @ 36w5d.
The cord was wrapped around her neck. My doctor went over the report with me today @37w5d and said shes not concerned about it. And the heart rate is fine and shes moves plenty.

She also told me that her head size is in the 90th percentile, and that shes going to be bigger than expected on the U/S.
So Im worried she will be hard to push and will get choked on the way out.
I want to avoid a c-section at all costs but this whole cord issue has me freaking out!!!

Can anyone relate?

You need to really be aware of fetal movements these next couple of weeks and if you go more than a few hours without feeling her move, call the doctor immediately. It's better safe than sorry. Is she head down yet? If she's head down there's less of a worry because the doctors can release it from her as you're birthing and they must have seen enough slack on the cord to allow for delivery space. Make sure you lay on your left side to prevent cord compression and drink a lot of fluid to keep your amniotic levels high and allow a lot of room for the baby to move around and not end up compressing the cord. As long as you're keeping up with fetal movements, you should have a fine delivery. They'll have you on the monitor and be able to see if the baby is in any distress.

if your this freaked pick up the phone and call your doctor. honestly they are the only ones who can relax you. lots of babies are born with their cords around their neck and they are fine. my son is one suck case his was wrapped around his neck twice and his waist very very rare occurrence if the doctor isn't concerned then you shouldn't be either good luck and congrats
