The meat and beans in the store doesn't even come close, so what kind of meat is it anyway? I know the meat is frozen and comes in a bag and they boil it, same with the beans. So how can u make it just like them?

Lots and lots of salt, and MSG. That's all they add. MSG will add flavor to cardboard, powerful stuff. You're better off to use a small amount of seasoning salt or Mrs. Dash for tacos. They make all flavors, for most ethnic dishes. Better for your heart and blood pressure, too much of that other stuff can be really bad for you.

And the poster above is correct about the low grade of beef. I knew someone who worked there in high school, she'll never eat at another one after seeing that. (It comes in a squeeze tube, grossed her out pretty bad.)

Taco Bell uses a very low grade ground beef. It's very fatty. Then preservatives and salt, etc. are added to it. Most grocery stores don't sell meat with that low of a grade. They usually sell AA or AAA meat. No preservatives are added at the grocery store.
