Definitely.
Rove was outed as one of the sources of the leak, and frankly, he should be jailed for that.

It's funny that the same people who call it a "witch hunt" probably loved the spectacle that was Clinton's impeachment.
Anyway, to answer the question, of course he was the fall guy. Rove, Cheney, etc. are too important to put on trial, and it would too much for the asinine logic of Tony Snow, et al. to handle.

If your asking was he covering for others, I believe he was. But he did make false or misleading statements. In a case this big, that is a very big thing! He will go to prison for sometime for sure. This investigation is not totally over. More may still follow!

No, the guy who actually made the leak got off. Libby is going to jail for simply remembering things wrong.

Heres a fact for the real world.. Just a fact , not an emotion.
In Summer of 2005, I telephoned the CIA in Langley Va and asked to speak to Valerie Plame. They looked and said we dont have anyone by that name working here. I said , i dont know, maybe she is using that as a name.. how would i find her.. I dont know any other name for her? They transferred me to a person who didnt disclose their identity. I explained what I was seeking her for. I was told, by someone associated with the Directors office, there was no such employee by that name. I said really? I had seen a story on LARRY KING LIVE , where her husband, an Ambassador, claimed she worked at the CIA.. I wanted to leave her a message or speak to her.
The CIA told me, thats not true. There is no such person by that name working here. So what did Libby get convicted of.

I tried to call the US JUSTICE DEPT AND WRITE TO THEM FOUR TIMES ON THIS. I Was never contacted.

I think Fittzy dug and dug but couldn't get any dirt on anyone else, so he settled for Libby, who couldn't remember what order he talked to who two years prior.
It was a witchhunt that couldn't find a witch so it settled for a pumpkin.
