Sorry to say, but it's your fault. Before you can start to make things better you need to stop blaming others for your mistakes in life.
You were the one who picked a loser to make babies with. You are the one who thinks he can change or that you can change him. He is the way he is and will not change, in fact he will only get worse. You need to run your own life and stop looking for easy answers. They are not out there, you are in charge. Just the fact that he lives with you is all anyone needs to know.

I have a deadbeat ex too, I did get her to move out though and I have custody of the kids and she still will not pay child support.

First of all why do you allow him to live with you? Kick him out and then go to court to get mandatory child support. You're being stupid!
