To be honest I don't think Charlie is dead!
the whole last episode was upside down but still good! It makes you think.
All that with Jack @ the hospital he said go & get my father if I am drunker than he sack me - spot the error ?? His father is already dead thats why Jack was on the plane bringing back his fathers body. Who was in the coffin! Sawyer!!! what was on the newspaper cutting?? Could it have been Kate getting married to someone????
Sorry in reply to yr Question again I don't think Charlie is dead!

He was my very favourite character so it really upset me to think that there will be no more 'You all everybody' high pitched singing or no more PBJ. What will we have to watch without the Charlie and Claire love story? The skate and jate triangle is boring as hell and not as sweet. I think the writers made a big mistake not going further with the CC relationship. Makes me not want to watch anymore! But I have to!

I was very sad to see him drown but how heroic....
I couldn't believe the producers actually let him die; an interview with one of them said they couldn't develop Charlie's character anymore, but there was surely loads more to explore. I'm hoping it's a bluff and we'll find out he escaped through the porthole.

LOL! K, Charlie never comes back. And wait until Season 5, they kill like a person per show.

i was gutted. come on did he have to die. i felt sorry for the fella. he gave up his life to save Claire and the baby. that was nice of him. Also before he died he wanted to help desmond out by telling him of Penny. this just shows his a good man. he was one of my favourate characters. the episode before this "greatest hits" i was so relieved that he made it into the station. my favorate character has to be Desmond.

I think that he should have stayed alive. Clare, the baby and him were the only thing resembling a nuclear family and it was nice to have that dynamic.

I really, really liked Charlie, he was one of my favourite characters. I'm clinging to the faint (and even I have to admit, somewhat unrealistic) hope that he's still alive.
