your body is trying to adjust back to normal...so call your doctor if you are concern. He might give you some pills to have your period started.

You don't start counting for your period the day you deliver, you start the day you stop bleeing. If you bled for 3 weeks, then you are just more than 3 weeks into a cycle. You should get your period within the next couple of weeks and frankly you shouldn't even be having sex yet! You need to wait 6 weeks after delivery for that and that's just about how long it's been.

Don't worry about not getting your period just yet, you are still only about 2months pp. If you are nursing, then you might find that you will get your period only after the baby stops nursing. It all varies, though. I nursed my son til he turned 18 months... but my period came at 5 months pp. Go figure. LOL.
Congrats on your new baby. My son was due 4/20/99... but came on 5/2/99... via emergency c/section.
It will take time for your period to come back. Until then, use some method of birth control to insure that you don't become pregnant too quickly.

Are you nursing your baby? If so, it's possible that you could not have your period for as long as you are nursing. This happened to my wife after all three of our children (we're on our 4th now). She nursed for about 10 months and never had a period until a month or two after she stopped.

Some women can get pregnant immediately after having a baby, so begin tracking your cycles now to see if you are ovulating. The NFP method can help with this.
If you are not exclusively breastfeeding your cycle could return any day now.

if you are breastfeeding, you still have a few months before you'll ovulate... it's part of the Natural Family Planning method called Lactional Ammenorhea, which means that you won't menstruate when you lactate...
but if you're unsure... you may ask ur partner to wear condom the next time you'll have sex...

I think, if I remember right from my women's psychology class, a woman is most fertile for the first three months after pregnancy.
I could be wrong, but you can look into it.
