Some argue that the corporate welfare helps these corporations provide jobs to welfare recipients. However, these corporations are already worth BILLIONS, so do they really need all of our hard-earned tax money?

Why?

Because they own the goverment.

Bought them all outright.

Much as I hate Bush this is by no means new, but has been happening for decades at least.

It's just reached completely ridiculous proportions more recently.

Bill Clinton was corporate owned (a big reason I don't like Hilary).

Eisenhower warned of this when he left office in his famous "Military-Industrial Complex" speech.

A corporation has shareholders, who share the company profits and pay taxes on dividends. Profits are what's left after taxes, salaries, operating expenses are paid.
The officers and employees of that company are also taxed on the salary they receive. When officers and employees spend that money, they pay a sales tax. If they resell anything they bought, they pay a gains tax on that. If they are lucky enough to get a tax refund, they are again taxed on the refund amount. If any thing is left from that refund, and they invest that money, any gain in the investment is taxed again.
.
A political contribution is a tax deduction. You do the math.

You can either pay welfare to the individual and have it be like an open vein into the treasury bleeding it dry, or you can pay corporate welfare that increases job number's and helps those employed actually pay taxes back through spending.
Not to mention you can gain more income by doing a good job through raises and promotions (rewards for hard work) or they can be stuck with what they get from welfare, unemployed, uninspired, and hopeless...this type of welfare offers opportunity to better yourself...regular state paid welfare is a trap.

of course those first 2 are Wal-Mart corprate heads. Its been obvious in this usa for sometime that for the period of the process the promise of jobs, the federal government will turn its head in regard to the exploitation of the yank worker. To all people will a ethical experience of right and incorrect, the thought that extensive agencies getting federal subsidies (via American worker tax money, techniques you), might desire to somewhat compensate their workers is obtrusive, besides the reality that regrettably, is a non-sequitur because of the regulation of furnish and insist. because of the fact the regulation of furnish and insist DICTATES, this is the availability as against the call for that determines what would be paid for what's geared up. Too many human beings after the same activity will advise low pay without reward. the thought that for the period of this usa maximum individuals have the possibility to easily "locate yet another activity" is ludicrous and ignorant (to no longer point out callous). regrettably blue collar workers might desire to start to anticipate the Stalin era and 1984 esque society this is straight away coming near for the period of the looming cloud of terrorism that the federal government keeps aloft over (our)head. Stockpile lavatory paper now, earlier its too overdue! look into Michael Moore's 1997 documentary on large company in the U.S. reported as "the large One" in case you think of i'm joking.

If they're really providing jobs to welfare recipients, then they're doing it to make more money. It makes no sense to give welfare to Wal-Mart and other big corps like drug companies, oil companies, and credit card companies.

The reason they get is these huge MULTIBILLION-dollar corporations bought and own the Republican Party. Criminals like Tom DeLay and Scooter Libby and many other Republican Party criminals used 9/11 and fear to trick the public and they also stole elections over the past 12 years or so to take over the whole government.

With all this power they screwed over all Americans even most of the Republican voters. One way they did this is to give away our tax money to Wal-Mart the drug companies, oil companies and credit card companies which used our own money to buy even more Republican politicians and help them keep screwing us over.

What's interesting is we spend so much more money in terms of corporate welfare than in terms of TANF and SSI, yet no one notices or cares.
