I will star a question after I answer it most of the time. Sometimes I will star it before I answer it because I might not have time to answer right then, and will answer it later.

It can go either way. Sometimes I can tell when I read the question that I find it interesting, and I star it at the beginning. Sometimes in answering it I realize it's interesting, and I go back and star it after I write the answer.

Usually I only star questions I don't know the answer to. So I do it before I answer, but I don't answer.
