I'm going to say M.A.C. I've been using their products for well over 2 years now, and I've tried my share of different brands. I've fallen in love! Not only do they have awesome staying power, they also come in a huge variety of colors and finishes. For longer lasting stay, try an eyeshadow base. I use MAC paint, in bare canvas, and sometimes I'll use a shadestick (beige-ing). MAC also has prep and prime eye, it's a cream similar to concealer that preps the eye for eyeshadow. Another good one is Urban Decay's Primer Potion, and you can find that at Sephora stores. Your eyeshadow seriously will not budge if you use that stuff! But it kind of makes blending a little harder.

Some tips I've picked up for more "vibrant" eyeshadow:

Get some of those desposible sponge tip applicators (can be found at CVS or if you live on the west coast, Walgreens) and pack the color on. Kind of "pat" it on your eyelid until you build up the color you want. use a brush to smooth it out into the shape you want. That's what I used to have to do when I used brands like covergirl and loreal. Now that I use mac...I haven't picked up a sponge tip applicator in a long time! Unless I need it for something special. Anyway though...I tend to ramble when it comes to M.A.C., I love it so much!

I'm a big fan of the eyeshadows available at The Body Shop, they're pretty reasonable too-around $10. With any eyeshadow, your best bet is always to apply some sort of base to your eyelids first...whether it's a thin coat of foundation or an actual shadow base. It gives something for the shadow to adhere to, thus providing more staying power.

MAC never fades. Try applying with a brush, rather than your finger, it will help the color stay. Or you can use a eyeshadow base, to hold the shadow in place.

Mac or Mary Kay is the absolute best. These eyeshadows come on so rich and not to mention that they have very cute colors. I never go with colors that are in drug stores because they tend to wear off easy and early.

To be quite honest with you, I have tried the high ends and low ends and I think Loreal's are the best. MAC eye shadows are great in color but they do fade fast-

powder eyeshadows usually fades when u sweat or in airborne. So the best thing u have to do is apply a creamy eyeshadow of lightess in color before putting ur black eyeshadow. For best result, try to consider mineral makeup eyeshadows, not only good for pimple, oily skin type but the mineral makeup itself is a waterproof makeup, non toxic and safe for sensitive skin... Sample of mineral makeups are Bare essentials, monave, etc...

I like Urban Decay and Lorac from Sephora. My mom swears by this company called Bourjous - also from sephora - that makes loose powder eyeshadow that comes in a little bottle with a brush.

Check out Arbonne's new summer colors they are really fun and or their For Young Individuals line has a creamy based shadow - that are really cool - and both stay put, both are all 100% pure and natural -
