why do people hate paris so much?

im always hearing on t.v about how people dont like paris hilton but i dont think they good reasons to hate her

I'll share my view on this:

1. For someone who is as much in the public eye, she sure tries pretty flipping hard to make a total *** of herself. I'm sure she's not that stupid. The thing is she adopts such a bimbo persona that it annoys people. By demenaing herself in such a way, people see her as a bad role model, extoling the virtues of being dumb.

2. For someone as rich as she is and as public as she is, she reinforces the image of the rich caring little for the poor. She spends more money per day than most Amerians make per month. She gives little to community causes. Ever heard of Paris doing the kind of stuff that other celebs do for the benefit of the community?

3. She has no obvious talent for acting, or singing, yet she is DYING to belong to the Hollywood inner circle. She throws parties in her own honor. She invites everyone to drink her booze and rock out, but how many are really friends of hers?

4. She has no job. She doesn't think that her life is good for anything more than partying, vacationing and posing for papparazzi.

5. She believes she is above the law because she is rich and some (mostly herself) think she is pretty. I bet she offered all sorts of bribes to all sorts of public functionaries to get out of the jail sentence she knew she had coming for her suspended license violation. Sorry, she has the obligatins under the law as every other passport-carrying American citizen.

6. She lies. She signs up for "Get out the vote" and on election day she is too hungover to get up and go vote. SO the next day she says she "forgot" to vote. HOW DO YOU FORGET TO VOTE???? YOU WERE IN A CAPAIGN TO GET OTHERS TO VOTE!!!!!

I guess that's about all I can think of at the moment. Not that I am going to spend more time today evaluating my dislike for her. The lesss I think about Paris the happier I am. I hope she would just remain in her mansions and her charter jets and disappear from the public eye. Yuck. Ugly, skinny *****.

I agree with DeeEm & PJ. She has no talent and doesn't do anything for humanity on whole. She just reminds the rest of us that she has money, in a time when people are struggling to pay their gas bills (both for the home & car). I don't see anything specail about her, I don't hate her, I just don't like that she is all over the place I'm tired of seeing and hearing about her. She doesn't come off as a very nice person, I think she deserves to go to jail, infact I wish they would put her in the real womans jail so she can really see just how unspeacail she really is.

I don't hate her, to hate someone means to feel something for them.

I do not know her, she is not my friend, my sister, my family, she is nothing to me....I just want to stop seeing her everywhere I go!

Different if she had a career built on any kind of talent, then I'd have time for her, but frankly, she should take her inheritence and have the decency to stop flaunting the excess of her life in everyone else's face.

Oh, and it is also very wrong that she believes all her money makes her above the law. So yes, send her to jail. If you or I had done what she did, we'd be there too. Them's the rules!

She's the poster child of a culture that makes celebrities out of people who have done nothing to celebrate. Celebrating ignorance and self indulgance over real heroes like solidiers and firefighters tends to piss people off.

Yes Paris should be in the media; but only as an example of what is not acceptable within society and as a warning to what your child will turn into if you dont teach them self respect and indulge them whatever they want.

Paris Hilton was brought up in privilege, with every advantage. And yet she turned out to be a coke-head, bulimic, whore with no skills. She thinks she's above the law. All she does is party. She serves no purpose in society, or life at large. All of this is bad enough, but she flaunts it, and is proud of it.

For the most part in this world, there are two types of people that draw ire and scorn: the extremely successful and those who others perceive have failed at life. Most people are mediocre or live mediocre lives. They hate Paris because of her wealth and privilege. Many of them don't own anything and are in debt. So, it's just jealousy plain and simple. People are sick in that they like to see people with fame and fortune fall or have difficulty in some way. I guess in their minds it justifies them.

She has so many opportunities and seems to do nothing with them except act in a vulgar manner. Her vulgarity and her lack of shame about her behavior annoy people. She flaunts bad behavior.
