Interesting question. Where else do Americans get the story about what is going on in the world? It is really a beautiful day in MY neighborhood. Turn on the tube and the scenery changes a bit.
What is frightening is that all of the media outlets are owned by big businesses and special interest groups. Therefore, the news we get can be slanted one way or another.

I have to be honest and say I watch Jon Stewart and the Colbert Report- both bash and poke fun at Democrats and Republicans alike, of course they both lean left and so do I so it makes sense that I watch them.

I'm just not entertained by seeing some guy get paid tons of money to commit logical fallacy. So I can't say it probably has much affect on my political opinions.

My political ideology hasn't changed in 35 years. I tend to call it like it is and feel that today's government is a serious intrusion into our private lives. I don't like what I'm seeing!
Regardless of the political leanings or propaganda of the media, I still stand strong, on my own. :)

very little. I formed my political opinions on my own. I choose to listen to and watch people I agree with on at least some issues.

I rarely watch TV. Sports, movies, rarely news.
And even when I do watch news, I know that what I hear is biased, regardless of which channel I watch.
IMO, TV kills critical thought.

None at all. I avoid pundits like the plague. I don't need another person to tell me what my opinions should be.
