do you like them? and y or y not? and is G'N'R gunna make another album or has axel gone into a pouting phase again? they are two of my favorite bands..

Metallica hands down....even if there new stuff sucks!!! But G'N'R wont make any kind of comeback! Axel by himself aint Sh!t and we all know he need Slash to come back to the band so they could make a decent album!

I love both Metallica and Guns N Roses, but I'm a much bigger fan of Metallica. GnR has been working on the same album for about 12 years now. It may finally come out before the end of the decade, but I have a feeling it won't be very good. It's not really even GNR, it's more like the Axl Rose Project.

You can not compare Guns and roses to alcohollica. It is like saying apples and oranges taste the same. Both are great bands but on kind of two opposite spectrums in the rock industry. But anyway back to your question I do infact like both bands but prefer Megadeth to either of the 2. Metallica has great f-ing songs you can't deny it. Even a very few on the latest "after the black album" are decent and i like 'em. I like all GNR albums hands down. Slash duff axl ---They are just amazing at what they do. Kirk hammet is bad as* and you all know it. I do wish Dave wasnt kicked out of metallica though...Just think of what amazing sounds you would be hearing from them today if he ws still in. If any of you guys are metallica fans which i see some are You really need to watch the Documentary they put out...its great. GNR album??? He ran out of money for that album when he rented a desroyer from the navy to jump off of in the video if i remember correctly. His ideas were way to costly for the album. This is likely the reason why it hasn't come out--Talking about Axl here btw.

I love Metallica simply because their music is amazing it always has been. I have loved them from the moment I heard Fade To Black from Ride The Lightning....
Yea Axl is making another album, its called Chinese Democracy. Only problem is he has been making it for 10 years now. They have released a song or two and that's it...
I have been a Guns n Roses fan for as long as I can remember. I hope Chinese Democracy was worth the wait, if not its back to Appetite for Destruction.....

You forget Velvet Revolver and Scott Weiland is meant to be dropping yet another solo album too... they are meant to be dropping albums this three hundred and sixty 5 days. Oh and BTW GNR's album is purely not out this three hundred and sixty 5 days...Axel stated that each and each three hundred and sixty 5 days for over a decade now and that i've got considered there album yet.

We've been waiting for the new Guns 'N Roses album for years now. It's supposed to be called Chinese Democracy, but it keeps getting delayed. I honestly think no one's ever gonna hear it. Metallica was great from the Black album and earlier. Master of Puppets is their greatest record I'd say.

i love old metallica, up until their black album, after that they became such a joke, but they inspired many awesome bands today
i do like gnr, who knows if axl will release the new album, it's 15 years in the making isn't it...i think he's afraid of being made fun of from the world and that's why it's taking him so long to release it

Metallica's awesome, they are just cool no explanation needed. don't listen to G'N'R, though. frankly, primus' antipop beats most metallica albums, but you can't beat Ride the Lightning.

Just overheard some talk today that axel's cd that he has been reportedly working on for 10 years has just been a hoax. It is probably never going to happen that they will get together again, in the meantime there is Velvet Revolver!

but i woulden't hold my breath, theve been making it for 13 years
but i hope it does come out just to see how it sounds, plus i heard Buckethead did the guitar
