How did you think of the US before the war was started, what do you think of it now? Do you respect it more or less, fear it more or less, like it more or less? I would especially be interested in responses from Muslim people, although all international responses are encouraged. Thank you very much for your answers!

I have always had a great deal of respect for the USA. Though I don't agree with the war in Iraq. I think that it was started because of bad information and not some evil plan to get oil. It is unfortunate that the USA finds itself in a bad position now (staying and having more US dead or leaving and wondering what Iraq will turn into). Personally I would say that it's time to bring the troops home. But this question doesn't make the distinction between Americans and their government. There are many issues with which I dissagree with Bush and I can't say that I have a great deal of respect for him or his administration but almost to a person every American i've ever met is a cool person.

BTW i'm Canadain

I have less respect for americans since the war in general.First the world protested the war more intense than americans,Bush was elected twice and the fact that there is still people defending that war and supporting Bush is just ignorant.
But again I should add that I am open minded when I meet new people,I realize that a lot of them were against the war from the beginning

Welcome to Washington, D.C. Obama pronounced many stuff that have been laudable after which after becoming to be elected summarily skipped over them. Iraq is a controversy which will hound, like Afghanistan, Obama for something of his Presidency. before everything, we could desire to continually agree that a President has information approximately such concerns that we are no longer conscious approximately. yet, extra curiously, being a President could desire to be the appropriate balancing act in what movements to take to maintain the have confidence of the persons whose help a President needs to take any action, and, what's right or basically as a President sees extra healthful. be careful what you desire for! Obama is now no longer an ideologue who can wax eloquent approximately what could desire to be, he's President, and could desire to attend to what must be.

We once had the support of almost every nation on earth and even the Mars delegation had nodded in agreement .The Saturn collective mentioned its support and assistance and even fast moving mercury who avoids its tragedies by moving so quickly overed to slow down a bit and offered some help .

But ever since Bush went on his own merry way only a few welfare states he threatened to cut off supported his actions .

This has left the universe with a bad taste in its mouth and so we are now known as the bad guys no better then those who attacked us .

I have great respect for America. I always have and my opinion has not changed. The US citizens should be more concerned about what they think of, and how they treat, each other.
