i have a montgomery wards 2000 elite model 3100002 it runs great as long as i jump it i replaced the solenoid and did not solve my problem if i bypass the safety switches will i have to still jump it?

It doesn't sound like a solenoid or jumper problem. You may have a bad battery. Take the battery to a local auto parts store and they can preform a test.

I would guess a bad battery. Jumping it is like putting a good battery in it. If you are using a vehicle to jump it, the Amps are probably a lot higher than the mowers battery also. You can get free battery checks at Auto Stores. May have a/some bad cells.

If you can start it by jumping it the safety switches must be ok. Sounds like you have a bad battery or the charging system is not charging the battery. Try charging the battery and see if it starts or get the battey tested. If it is a couple of years old it probably needs replacing.

Yes you would still have to jump it. But you should never bypass the safety switches.
Take it to a qualified mechanic and have them test the stator output and the battery. The battery needs to be load tested.
