History is the story of the human race. It's filled with violence but some good things too. If textbook history bores you, try some historical novels like WAR AND PEACE for the Communist revolution, GONE WITH THE WIND for the Civil War, WINDS OF WAR about WWII and so on. Maybe this will make the study of history more palatable.
