I dont know why you broke up with your ex and what happened between you guys. But depending on that it would be easier to answer this question.

If it was not a mutual separation then I would say such an act of sleeping with an ex's best friend is not the best thing that could've happened. You may have just blown your chance of getting back together.

If it was mutual and for good, then it really doesnt matter who you sleep with, and it shouldnt hurt your ex in anyway at all.

But regardless of how you both broke off from the relationship, jealousy will always be there if your ex found out.

This is a very common thing and happens often. It's more nearly the rule than the exception. Better just say nothing at all.You did say ex's friend didn't you?

ummmm...."Good night".....??? I really don't get what it is you're asking. A person sleeps with their ex's best friend? Or your ex's best friend...or what?

If it's their ex's best friend...my original answer stands, say "Good night Gracie." It's none of your concern. If it's your ex's best friend...again....so what?
