I have been getting this too. My midwife told me its something called sciatica in the back. Its where the baby is laying or pressing on the sciatic nerve (this is the largest nerve in you body) its not dangerous and eventually the baby will spin round. My baby has decidied that this is its favourite way to lay and i am now constantly getting pains in my back. Sit upright with your back straight and it should go away. The pains in your stomach which im also getting are justthe baby growing. if you start to bleed go straight to hspital but otherwise everything should b ok. Good Luck.

Hi It could be a number of things, it could be cramps like when you were due your period because you can still suffer from it or just your uterus growing, i suffered from that and it did go into my lower back it is painful. The only thing you can take while pregnant in plain paracetamol, if it does get worse and your concerned about it phone your midwife they always say that's why their there for any reason, it will put your mind at ease. All the best

firstly the stomach pains are quite normal as ur womb is already starting to grow secondly tell ur dad he may be a little disappointed but he's ur dad n he loves u no matter how distant ur relationship is thirdly only u can make this decision if u want this baby then thats what u should do people may be disappointed but if ur happy they will be happy remember this decision will affect the rest of ur life which ever way u decide to go the only thing i can suggest is follow ur heart it will lead u the right way n dont let anyone else pressurise u i let my ex force me into a termination n i wanted to keep the baby even though i knew that people would be upset with me n i have regretted it every day ever since i wish u the best n what ever decision u make i'm sure it will be right for u n the people u love and who love u will be there n support u no matter what Good luck

It might be nothing, but really if you have any concerns when pregnant, then its probably best to see the midwife or at least phone and talk to her about the problem. I had quite a lot of pain when expecting my last child, so I got it checked out and found out that the bones in my pelvis were rubbing together, and as I got bigger I had a hell of a job to walk.

Lots of women still get period pains throughout, but contact your doctor or midwife to be safe and put your mind at ease.

Could just be Braxton Hicks, they're like pretend contractions. They are more common with second and subseqent babies but I did get a few with my first. If they are really bad, you should go see your midwife just to make sure everything is nice and safe and sound x

you probably should have contacted her a couple of days ago but do so now and get on bed rest if you want the baby and if something happened to it I don't mean to make you feel bad, just get in touch with her okay?

You need to go to the doctor's right now.
I had those same symptoms when I was pregnant years ago and I miscarried.
