Another standard issue white guy for president.

If people are smart they won't. The only chance they have is that soccer moms will like Obama's hair. Obama has no credentials, he has no political career. If Hillary wins I will just dig a hole and lye in it like a depressed....depressed mole? I don't know many people that like Hillary though, even Liberals tend to like Obama it seems more than her just because she lacks the "luggage". As of now, our only real choices are standard issue white guys. I want some variety as much as anyone else but the options just aren't too good.

Obama more than Hillary. Hillary is extremely divisive and will bring out the Republican vote, she is more leftist than she lets on and it would be exposed in the general election, and frankly, leftist don't win elections, if they did they would campaign that way.

As for Obama, he is also not really electable in a general election. First he has very little experience, he is more of a novelty. Unfortunately, and I wish it wasn't this way but it is, his name <> and his upbringing as a Muslim when a child will prove a huge hurdle.

The most electable Democrats are Edwards and Richardson. (I support neither by the way)

The USA is NOT yet ready, least for the next 42 or so years, for either a woman and/or black President. Nothing racist or even personal there---it's just a solid fact.

In what few states that allowed "girl power" governors--most all have their share of ineptness and dire costly blunders. True: most political misfortunes may come by the hand of chauvinist male political colleagues (if such could be proven). However, the record stands clear.

As for Obama. Evidently, he's NOT above using the valued "race card" or scare tatics to boost his poll popularity. He's now saying host states for black New Orleans/Katrina displaced are housing masses about to explode in rioting much similar the '92 firey violent LA riots!!

Perhaps that scare tatic would've well worked in 1992--espicially guided by fellow racist antagnoist Al Sharpton. But today, 2007, we can tell Obama "....and your point, sir, is......?????"

Obama's racist scare tatics are quickly losing my respect and faith in him as a viable candidate for the US Presidency.

They are electable, as many people are still racist and will vote skin color or sex. If they join forces as president and ms. vice president candidates and promise increased benifits for seniors, the can gather a majority of votes.
They can also get the illegal immigrant vote by siding with amnesty, and win in a landslide.

I don't find either particularly qualified especially in such dangerous times as these.

But, on the other hand, I don't think qualifications matter very much to most voters, so yes, they are both electable. But that doesn't mean very much.

They are unelectable, but it has nothing to do with the color of their skin or their gender. Both are extreme leftists and this country isn't ready for either. Clinton won both times by campaining as a conservative. The democrats won the House and the Senate in '06 by masquerading as conservatives.

It is the the color of the skin, or the gender of the person that matters. To think so is racist or sexist.

I would not vote for either one because they believe that government solves problems, not the people. We need a return to free trade, liberty and personal responsibility.

They are both a bit excuse my word choice but crazy and will not attract voters from anywhere but the choir or like preaching to the converted.

Are Obama and Hillary electable?

Yes. It would be shameful of Americans to be otherwise.
