If you click on my name under my pic my profile will come up at least it does for me. then over to the right it will say 360 click on that it should take you to my page . I put the picture uner my profile pic.

But Let me explain how I see it done.
you take a Knitting needle and make the loops around the needle. Then you gather like 6 or so Loops and then you crochet so many stiches till you have done all the loops . It makes the cutes design. I think it would look great as a spread for a bed . This is made of some really fine string thicker then thread but thinner then yarn. I hope this helps.

also, broomstick lace is made with a crochet hook and a very large knitting needle.

Happy Crafting!

I can't see/couldn't find your pic at your 360 degree yahoo thing, so I am going by what you are saying about it.

There is a stitch called cro-knit that uses a special needle and I think Annie's Attic and/or Leaisure Arts may have instructions and patterns for that technique.

It could be the knit- weave, where you knit a mesh or background piece, then pull crocheted strips or fringes thru that mesh or background knitted fabric, or possibly the tambour stitch where you use chains of crochet overlayed on knitted background pieces to make argyle diamonds and lines, or vines with flowers, etc.

Or maybe the tapestry technique, where crochet the designs as you go with an afghan hook ( a knitting needle with a built in crochet hook on the end ) and the piece ends up looking like knitting.

I think your talking about tunisian crochet(afghan stich) it looks like a knitting needle but has a crochet hook on the end . You put all the stiches on then take of the first 2 together then single stiches then start all over again adding stiches then taking them off.
good Luck

Yes, its Afghans alright. I find these books quite helpful :
1. 200 crochet blocks for blankets, throws and afghans.

2. Donna Kooler's Crocheted Afghans.

3. Mile-A-Minute Afghans.
Hope this help.
