I just read some amazing responses to the question asked 30 mins ago about children and sexuality and many answerers showed an amazing ignorance of human sexuality.
"Kids these days are obsessed" "Kids these days need more time to be kids".
Do you understand that children have more time than EVER IN HUMAN EXISTENCE to be kids nowadays? Kids 100 years ago were working in coal mines at age 6!!

200 years ago, kids were pregnant at 13!!! I mean please think about what you're saying when answering these questions. Answer with your brain, not your emotions.

And I clearly don't mean everybody, just want to be clear.

*Part* and only part of the problem is the perception that many of a certain generation have, of the relative social stablility of the period dating from roughly 1930s to 1950s in most of the USA and parts of Europe (war torn areas obviously excepted). As to Ronin you're right in some cases, but some kids are forced to work get the best grades in the hardest classes available, and that is harder than a good deal of "adult" jobs out there. Which takes away their childhood.
