Don't play Runescape.. i tried it, it's a complete disaster. No idea why people play it..
Rubies has actual 3-d graphics.. granted it's not for the timid (has a kind of steep learning curve to get used to the controls) but read the manual first and you'll be fine... that or pay attention to the tutorials available in the starting area.
It's got like 140 character classes, 6 races, etc.
It's just an all-around fun game for whatever you set out to accomplish for whatever time-frame you want to play (no 8 hour raids or 4 hour dungeons where you can't leave, that type of thing).
ANd if you like soloing there are just as many opportunities to do that as there are parties (no penalty for being in a party so it's just as much fun only faster).

Well, TetraWarrior and Final Fantasy Online are pretty good games. If not, Creaturefight is a good game.

there's a game called guild wars my cousin let me play one time. you can still chat , but has way better graphics and quests and stuff :-)
only thing is the game costs money! 50 bucks last time I checked.

Habbo hotel but it's not fighting. Adventure quest, dragon fable but I wouldnt say there were better. I got on Habbo
