I just don't understand the Dems. The state has a $2 billion budget surplus, and they want to raise taxes. If they could get their spending under control, I MAY support a tax increase, if it was for something necessary.
Henry VIII - The amendment passed last November to allocate all the gas tax to the transportation budget. Why do they need to turn around and increase taxes for transportation when they are going to have all this money coming into it soon?

So when people fall into those lakes because the bridges fail or when they can't go anywhere by automobile because the roads aren't fit to drive on they'll thank that Republican Governor for his veto.
