Ghosts yes, the devil no. I have seen spirits, but not the devil. I personally believe that there is no such thing as the devil, he was just used as a pawn in religions. I was raised roman catholic and we learned about the devil. I was scared to death of both god and the devil growing up, because if we were bad and didn't comply to the ten commandments god would send us to hell and if we were weak the devil could tempt us to do bad things to displease god. It was all very frightening and sure I didn't want to go to hell and live in fire and be punished and in pain for all eternity. The devil I think is the way we are controlled in some religions. It is how we are made to "be good". I also think the devil was used or created to explain mental illness when no one knew what a mental illness was, these people were possessed by the devil. What an easy way to explain bizarre behavior. Sorry if I offended anyone!

None of those things exist, I am sorry to say. People who buy into part of the package- angels & devils - have to buy into the WHOLE package -the Holy Ghost...
Unfortunately, although ghost stories are fun, and the devil is a convenient excuse - "the devil made me do it" All of these are folklore, with no basis in reality at all. Too bad, ghosts would be cool.

Yes I believe in their existence. Ghosts are spiritual beings of people who died and haven't reached heaven yet, for some some reason unknown to me. Sometimes it is because they have unfinished business or worries. Sometimes because they are too attached to material life and can let go of the pleasures and earth (money, tobacco, alcohol, drugs) and they prefer to stay away from the light and be around people who they love, or hate, or do things they used to do and like.
About the devil, well... I believe it is a force or attitude that we all project towards life. When we do incorrect things(things that we wouldn't want anyone to do to us) we give life to the so called devil. Its a human state of imperfection, when we choose to do the things that makes us feel good, no matter what suffering or problems we cause to others. Its the human ego. When we act correctly (treating everybody just as we would like to be treated) we defeat the devil and we walk towards the Light. It al depends on what are your goals: Light or darkness. Ancients said that we humans move from darkness to light using millions of incarnations and learning from each one how to be better. And better is working for others, rather than working for ourselves. Hope this can bring some light to your path. PEACE AND LIGHT.

Of course ghoste are real. No one is a real believer until they actually experience it, but from my encounters i do believe. I also believe there are evil forces that we encounter everyday. The devil is a manefestation of all the evil that we see in ourselves, the world, and in nature. You know like when the natural disasters are accredited to the devil.... yes i do believe that there are things beyond our plane of existance that parallel our own.

Yes I believe as there are Angels in heavens there are also fallen angels that we call devils... I do not believe in gosts.
Saint Thomas has written that the divine love of God entrusts the Angels in heavens to restrain the actions of devils so that they would not do their biddings....
... Saint Thomas teaches that if things were left to devils no human being would be left alive... their hatred to mankind is unimaginable.

The devil is a Judo/Christian concept, I believe that the devil walks the earth in the form of people like, Osama Bin Laden, Charles Manson, murder's, pedophiles etc. those are the real devils.
