Yes, I had them. Yes, my smile improved. I used to have a severe underbite, but now not so much. My teeth have since moved due to my not wearing my retainer, but it is not as bad as before I had the braces.

I was the first person in my class to get braces; it was in 4th grade. I was lucky enough to only have them on for 9 months, and my teeth looked like they belonged to a different person afterward. Now all I do is wear a retainer at night to keep them from moving.

Yes, I had them for 4 years and have been in the orthodontics system for 6. my teeth were pretty crooked. this year, I'm a senior and I won nicest smile! so yes, braces do work...make sure you go to a credible place.

Yes, for 2 & 1/2 years, and yes. I STILL have wires on the inside of my teeth which were put there after they braces came off and have been there for 14 years now. Your teeth don't stop moving for ages and they won't let me have them off.

Personally no. Two of my sons had them, and yes, their smiles greatly improved. Very nice!

This is the stupidest question I have ever seen...of course braces make your smile better...if they didn't then what the hell would be the point of them...

Had them - painful but yes your smile improves, your bite and profile. Well worth it

Yes, I did wear them and I have a gorgeous smile today. That, in addition to my eyes, is one of my best features.
