I forgot to say that school is out and they are going on a cruise together in a few weeks. He keeps saying he will divorce his wife, but hasn't. How can I stop her from going on this cruise?

If the teacher is 50 and your friend is under 18 you need to tell the head person at the school. It is against the rules (even if she is over 18). I would also tell your friend that she is being cheated on and let her deal with it.

Try to see if you can get some proof that he is cheating with Alex. If you could afford it, I'd say hire a private investigator to take pictures and/or video. Nothing is going to wise up this girl like the evidence that this pig of a man is also focusing his attention on another girl.

First off,you can do nothing w/out proof of what you are thinking is taking place as you can get yourself into serious trouble with accusations.Get your proof and then take him to the School Board. Filing that kind of charge can cause problems in the school and with the family unit. Never make accusations that you can't back up. Pray about this b-for doing any thing.

You can give her advice as a friend, and to be a true friend you now let her make her decisions - even the bad ones like this. And once things come crashing down, then you be the shoulder for her to cry on. That is what makes a good friend a best friend.

Nothing, look the other way, tell them you don't want to hear it, and maybe even find new friends! You could also drop a hint to the teacher's wife (anonomuosly!) or threaten the teacher himself with an anonomous letter! - Oh I have to ask are you jealous? You're friends are stupid and karma will check them! Do nothing they'll get there's, so will he!!! Timing is everything!

Tell your principal. Your social studies teacher is breaking the law and taking advantage of a young girl [probably more than one]. He won't stop until somebody puts a stop to it for him.

This is a perfect opportunity for life to step in and illustrate a lesson. Do nothing. Things have a way of coming to light.

hmmm... this is a toughie. alex sounds like a wonderful person, maybe you should just come to accept that 50-year-old social studies teachers like men who can pop zits more than your best friend. if you have another best friend, like one who looks like me, maybe she could have an affair instead. yes.... i think thats it. thats the solution to your problem. call the white stag if you stilll have problems.

If your friend is under 18 or a student, then he should be reported. Otherwise, stay out of it and let the chips fall where they may.
