If you believed your lying leader Bush at the beginning of the Iraq war that the purpose was to 'free Iraqis' and 'spread democracy' then we have already lost the war. Although it has become very clear what the real purpose of this misguided war was from the start. This Bush administration and the entire right wing conservatives in general are a thin veil for the real fascist regime they hope and plan for America. You want evil? Look within your own sick and twisted Repub party.

I would think that anyone that considers a majority of his country's people as evil should sit down and do some deep thinking about his own behavior. Making blanket judgments that are politically motivated and senseless is easy, but thinking a situation through can take intelligence and reasoning.
Liberals as a whole do not support abortion. They support choice. This means that, if a woman decides she cannot raise a child, emotionally or financially, she has a choice. The way the Republicans see it, having a passel of children that you cannot feed or clothe correctly is just fine. They even resent putting out money to help feed these kids.
Their attitude is that, if you are going to enjoy sexual relations, you must suffer the consequences. So, in their minds, in some twisted way, their Pro Life stance is a form of punishment.
I heard one Republican say "All human life is sacred!" Then, in the next breath, he was supporting the Iraqi War, with its thousands of dead, wounded or orphaned children, its piles of corpses, its suffering. If this is Pro Life, I'm the Pope.
Then we have the situation where some 12 year olds are pregnant from incest, or women who have been brutally raped become pregnant. I have read all sorts of Republican tales about the glory and warmth of this situation, glowing tales of motherly love. But I know the truth, that incest and rape bring misery and intense suffering to the victim. Why should society condemn a woman to such humiliation and despair through no fault of her own?
It seems to me that Republicans take delight in the punishment of women, while men are elevated to a position of non-responsibility. It is like the archaic world of stoning women or painting huge A's on their foreheads, while the males involved continue with their exalted lives.
This attitude may explain why the so-called Red States lead the way in divorce statistics.
Before you condemn all liberals as evil, you had best study the situations in this world. To battle abortion, all any male has to do is refrain from impregnating a woman who does not want a baby. It's that simple.
I don't consider liberals evil. I consider people who make false judgments about other people as being, not evil, but certainly misguided and misled.

I would support a right to life amendment, but don't see those who disagree with me as "evil," and I see some difference, but not a lot, between the destruction of lives we do in Iraq and the destruction of unborn lives.
Those who favor legalized abortion and those who favored invading Iraq both feel they are protecting important freedoms (reproductive freedom or democratic freedoms). In either case there may be more selfish motives as well.
I feel the best approach going forward to either issue is to develop nonlethal means of defending freedoms we value. That would include nonlethal weapons and medical technology that would terminate unwanted pregnancies without killing the unborn (perhaps even using cryogenics to delay the birth of "unwanted" unborn babies until their mothers either authorize their birth or die). I know such technologies might be many years from being developed, but future generations will need nonlethal solutions as much, if not more, than we do. We should keep that in mind when we support policies by talking about how they will help future generations.

I don't think liberals are evil.....misguided and dead wrong yes.
Sadly it is in the Democrats best interest if we lose in Iraq. It is sad that a party has positioned itself in a way that what is good for America is bad for them.....really sad.

what is evil???? we have lost in Iraq. we are policing a civil war of religion and the mighty oil money. Just want to know how many children have YOU adopted to save them from abortion . How many pregnant women are you financially supporting so they would not get an abortion( food ,clothing and med bills???
Your definition of evil is very askew.

I take issue with you calling liberals "evil". It is basically stupid and childish to call political opponents "evil" simply because they are misguided and ignorant.
Hitler was evil. Stalin was evil. Mao was evil. Osama bin Laden and Saddam are evil.
But liberals who think their ideas and beliefs are what is best for America, regardless of how egregiously wrong they are, they are not "evil".
