Sam more or less calls attention to the ambiguity in your equation (unfortunately, he makes a careless mistake in one of his solutions).
If your problem has (7x) in the denominator (meaning no x in the numerator)...
3 / (7x) = 15
7x/3 = 1/15
x = (3 * 7)/15 Here Sam should have (3/7) (1/15) giving 1/35
NOT 1.4
x = 7/5
x = 1.4
[The rest of Sam's work is OK.]
if the problem is (3/7) * x = 15, then
x = (15 * 7)/3
x = 105/3 = 35

You might need a math tutor... these are basic concepts you should know.
3/7x = 15
Multiply both sides by 7. You get 3x = 105
Divide both sides by 3. You get 35. Understand?? It's all about isolating the variable.
