I'll tell you why John Cena may be the best WWE Superstar right now because love him or hate him, we all talk about him. That's what Vince really wants. The worst thing that can happen to a wrestler is to generate no buzz. Success in pro wrestling is not all about your in-ring talent but more about your charisma and mic skills. Hogan, Rock, Triple H, Austin, Cena...what do they all have in common? They can all rock the microphone.
I have never seen anyone receive more attention than Cena. The reason for that is simply that there are equal sides that love and loathe "the Champ." Sting, Austin and Hogan were almost unanimously celebrated by the fans so there was no debate to drive the hype. From the time I have spent in this wrestling forum, I would bet the number of posters would cower int the shadow of the masses of a purely "John Cena only" forum. I respect the fact that John Cena equally acknowledges the cheers and the boos, and that alone truly makes him one of the greats in the business.

I don't mind Cena i do hate the fact he has had the title for the last 2 years but to be honest, i would rather see the gold around his waste then around the mutant Kahli, i wouldn't mind umaga holding the belt if they dropped the whole he only speaks Samoan gimmick we all know he can speak English just fine, but to have either man that cannot sell it on the mic why have them champion.

The only other person that comes to mind is Bobby Lashley, but at least he did lose his belt once (got it right back, mind you).
How can Cena do things that the best of the best can't? It's all bullsh*t and yet another reason why WWE quality has gone down.
