Right now Jon Rauch is the tallest player in MLB history at 6'11''. But the Twins have a pitching prospect named Loek Van Mil who is 7'1'' and perhaps some day there will be a question about him.

Jon Rauch
w/ MLB - Nationals | 4-5, 3.35 ERA, 2 saves (in 5 save opps.) 86/36 K/BB in 91.1 IP
Rauch had a breakout year in 2006 and was hands down the most improved player on the squad. At 6'11, Rauch is the tallest player in MLB history, and his tall stature gives his fastball extra bite.

He just passed Randy Johnson (6'10")
